When choosing between a long but straight path and a short but narrow path, majority will take the short but narrow path. More often than not, we choose to cut our journey. Not knowing that we need to take that journey to mould us in becoming the person we hoped to be. The journey can be tough to take, we might sometimes stumble and fall, but these experiences will add value to what we are striving to achieve
This is true enough to most people who are looking for a quick solution about their weight. A lot of people want to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Yes, this is possible but if you are thinking that this will be easy, it is not. But it is a start.
START FRESH
To begin your journey, throw away all the stuff inside your refrigerator and food cabinet. Do not leave any chocolates, candies, colored juices, cookies, chips and the likes.
PLAN YOUR DIET
Limit your carbohydrate intake. Eat vegetables, eggs, chicken, steak, pork chops. I got so tired of chicken that i found ways to cook steak and pork chops for dinner. What I do before I eat my meal is I eat an apple or watermelon before a meal.
EXERCISE
Sorry, but if you are looking for ways to lose that 10 unwanted pounds quickly, you cannot away with exercising. If you do not work out, you’ll just be kidding yourself. Walk when you can, walk to the bank, the grocery store or to your friends’ house. . Do good cardio, meaning aerobics classes, bicycling, running, etc.
DRINK WATER
Stay away from the sodas, including diet soda. Juices are good but have lots of sugar and carbohydrates in them. Settle for water. After doing it for a while your mouth will crave water and it will taste the best for you.
